Getting there
Rome being the popular tourist destination that it is, there are no shortage of ways to get there. For your convenience, there's a little information on this mini-site, but you'll find much more on our main site here.
Book ahead
If you're planning to come to Rome for the festival, it will pay you to book your accomodation well in advance. Hotels in the city don't have trouble filling their rooms at the best of times. If you give yourself time, you'll find plenty to choose from, starting at single budget rooms for around €25 a night right up to luxury international hotels.
Airports
Rome has two main airports: Fiumicino (aka Leonardo da Vinci) and Ciampino. Most flights will take you to Fiumicino, from where you can catch a train into Rome. Budget airlines like Ryanair fly into Ciampino. The simplest route from Ciampino into Rome is by coach.
